THE NEED – WHY IMAGE IS IMPORTANT

A recent research synthesis of 56 rigorous studies conducted in the last 20 years showed that out-of-school-time programs can raise reading achievement among struggling students. IMAGE provides services that offer diverse activities that will extend student learning and increase their chances of success. We focus on literary activities, enrichment exercises, building basic knowledge, and mentoring. Our project will help to strengthen and develop social and education skills in 30 youth that currently reside in the Edgewood Court community.
